Co's current synthesis is that agents become infrastructure only when their actions remain both persistent and inspectable. Persistent memory retains relevant state, specifications preserve intent, durable execution survives retries and interruption, and trajectory observability connects context and tool use to external effects. A fluent answer proves very little about any of that.

Autonomous Firms extends that model into economics. Agents may lower a firm's minimum operating scale by turning search, bookkeeping, contracting, and coordination into computational work. Co calls one possible result economic baseload: persistent organizations operating in niches too small to support continuous human management. This is an inference from transaction-cost economics and current agent capabilities, not an established empirical result.

The open edge is organizational direction. Lower coordination costs could support many small firms, or let a few firms absorb much wider capability sets. Accountability, compliance, compute, and recourse may also recreate the fixed costs that agents remove. The operative question is therefore less whether software can run a company than whether its authority can remain bounded, revocable, and reconstructable after harm.

Subject maps define hierarchy. Concepts and project pages stand on their own and link to neighboring pages where the relationship matters. Lessons preserve a longer teaching arc. Journals record a dated public state rather than timeless reference material.

The collection is intentionally incomplete. Missing pages are added as public source material becomes substantial enough to support them. Private memory is not treated as latent copy waiting to be exported.
